Hi, I’m Hannah,
I’m a UK based User Researcher and UX designer.
I have worked on a number of Catalyst funded charity projects over the last year. In 2019 I made a career change from experienced teacher into user centred design. I have a desire to work in a role that directly contributes to improving people’s lives.
I enjoy working on all aspects of UX design from user research to wireframing and prototyping. I am an enthusiastic designer with a passion for improving user experience.
Please don’t hesistate to get in touch.

User Researcher and UX Designer
Dynamic Skillset Ltd (2020-Present)
I was responsible for the user research and UX design of a Universal Credit project. My role included:
- Creating a user research plan and recruiting users.
- Using a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Reporting research back to team in clear, creative and concise ways.
Cooperator & Company Secretary – We Are Open Coop
(2016 – present)
This involves both project work and the internal operations of a small, agile tech co-op. I have worked on two Catalyst COVID-19 Digital Response projects through this co-op. My role in these projects involved: training charities on user research techniques, creating workshops and teaching the use of wireframing tools such as Whimsical and Figma.
Graduate UX Techdegree – Treehouse
(2019 – 2020)
A challenging, online UX course where I learnt to critique designs, complete user research, and design web and mobile applications and create a portfolio of my designs.
(2004 – 2019)
With 15 years of planning for my ‘users’ to get the most out of their classroom experience, re-designing lessons, thinking on my feet and coming up with creative ways to share information; teaching really has been a great background to have coming into the world of technology and UX design.
